We have a rare opportunity for working in a startup environment within the US Wealth Management Engineering team as a Salesforce Developer who will be responsible for crafting solutions and leading the engineering, testing, release and support of applications. Successful candidates will have a solid technical background in Salesforce and a deep understanding of product design and implementation. Our Salesforce Developer will work with multiple partners to deliver solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Salesforce platform. This person will anticipate bottlenecks, drive the simplification and automation of processes and balance business needs versus technical constraints. Your technical expertise and operational excellence will influence the team's decisions and drive secure and robust solutions. While Salesforce will be the main focus, the right Developer should be willing and able to learn and support other related technologies as needed.

Ownership of key technical aspects of the Salesforce platform, including custom development, with a bias toward using native functionality and Lightning components Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, and communicate inherent security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development and implementation of applications with necessary customizations and integration Work with Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components and other technologies to build simple and scalable solutions that support business requirements Own and maintain the data modelling and data transformation logic using ETL tools to support data workflows across integrated business systems Troubleshoot code and fix bugs for planned releases and to resolve production issues Research and find opportunities to utilize Salesforce best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring Work within an Agile Scrum or Kanban process Create unit test classes for all development objects in Salesforce Develop and maintain technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements. University or Post-Graduate Degree. Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering). 7+ years relevant experience. Expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organizational issues . Expert knowledge of business/organization, its standards, applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices. Expert knowledge and experience in own discipline; integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Appetite for contributing within a complex and critical environment. Leadership prowess when it comes to teams or projects; shares expertise. Well-honed, in-depth skills and broad knowledge to address complex problems and non-standard situations.
