Job Summary: Responsible for providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. Manages the diagnosing errors or technical problems, determining proper solutions then managing repair, maintenance and test tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesKnowledgeable and proficient in servicing, troubleshooting, and configuration of various AV equipmentProvide troubleshooting support and training to Help Desk customersInterface face to face with end clients and solve AV issues from User operation eras, fixing issues with firmware updates, fixing broken cables and swapping out equipment etc.Rely on Filed engineers and Sr Level AV techs to assist with 20% of the more complex AV issues.Travel to customer sites to support the AV Services of clients in NYC metro area.Must have excellent communication and professional client interaction skills,Experience troubleshooting Biamp and DSP, Video Conferencing manufacturers Polycom, Tandberg, Lifesize, etc.Trouble shoot Crestron or Extron systems (no programming required)RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience servicing and troubleshooting AV systems (Polycom, LCD LED screens (Telepresence and CISCO / Tandberg systems)Troubleshooting and Installing complex Audio-Visual SystemsTroubleshooting and servicing experience with Extron and CrestronBasic installation experience with Video Conferencing manufacturers Polycom, Tandberg, Lifesize, etc.Infrastructure knowledge and installation experience: Projection Screens, Display Mounts, Ceiling Speakers, Wired Microphones, and Equipment RacksExcellent problem-solving skillsThe ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical descriptions provided by customers
